Known as the "David : Beloved One", this three-way concept album stemmed from a senior thesis idea of Eric Hungerford. As an illustrator, Eric intertwined his artistic gifting with the soundscape of Jonathan Garrett Olson to create a reliving of the Old Testament story of King David. Kristin Olson, now the wife of Jonathan, captured the creative process of the illustrations and music in the making of a documentary.
From the scenes of his first encounter with a lion to the ultimate defeat of Goliath the Giant, both music and image feed upon the emotional expression of this timeless story.
